It will cover collective musical improvisation strategies, participating in an unconventional ensemble, in which the instruments are interconnected with each other in a circle, and a computer system manages the turns of each performer and how the instruments’ influence each other.
Each participant can contribute to the system with his instrumental performance, and through a sensor system designed especially for the workshop, diferent aspects of the participants’ performance can be modified or can influence the overall performance of the interactive musical System.
This complex network of mutual influences, of convergent or divergent desires of all participants, becomes a process sometimes collaborative, sometimes unpredictable.
