Michael Gustorff - The licks you should always practice but never play

Log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

This workshop will help string players to use harmonic colors such as b9,#9,#11,b13… consciously and on purpose.

After having transcribed a great amount of jazz solos, Michael Gustorff put his experience into a system that enables musicians to implant any harmonic color no matter where or when in their solos.

The workshop is open for all musicians as a listener.

If you want to participate in the workshop as a player, you should be able to play maj scales, maj & min triads and chords such as min7, maj7, diminished & dom7 on your instrument.

Michael Gustorff is teaching at ArtEZ Conservatory Arnhem and the Hochschule für Musik und Tanz in Cologne.
